Which Came First the Chicken or the Egg

Which came first the chicken or the egg, one of the only solvable paradoxes. When you first get asked this question what do you think came first, it’s either the chicken, or the egg. Now I don’t want to say your answers not true, but it’s the egg. Now before you disagree let’s look at this differently. The chicken can’t come first, it’s impossible, because a chicken…wait for it… Comes from an egg.

But now the other question is where does the egg come from. Well the egg doesn’t come from a chicken but a possible prechicken. The way that this is possible is because genes can mutate, just like ours. When the human race first started out they had huge eyebrows, massive head, and hair everywhere, and now there us. So my theory is that 2 prechickens layed and egg in which the genes mutated and formed the very first chicken. Now it has to be the egg because a chicken came out of it so it is a chicken egg. So now going back to my point the egg came first.

Tennessee

Our school is doing a project with another school from Tennessee and the place is not what you seem. Although the place is crawling with country singers and comedy barns the place has some pretty amazing sights. I went on a trip to Nashville Tennessee for a family reunion and we rented a cabin in the smokey mountains. On the first day of the trip we went to a place called uber gatlinburg and went alpine sliding down a mountain. On the second day we went and hanged out around town which is a lot like ours but the buildings are smaller. The third day we went go cart racing in their 1 billion tracks that Nashville has. Their down town isn’t anything impressive it’s really cool though it reminded me of the little community of buildings that we have with Tyler’s, chick-fa-la, and H.E.B.
That’s all I have to say about Nashville. But I’ll tell more once I get back in class.

Halloween night

As the moon shines down illuminating the Trumeter family porch the screams and howls of creatures fill the air. The faint snickering of a mice can not be heard over the crying of humans hiding for their lives. The loud stomps of a huge monster rumbles the porch as the winds blows over the huge house. But just then when the horror is at its finest laughter fills the air.

The sounds of running and skipping through the streets full of kids wondering house to house in search of delicious goods fill the air. The smell of warm candy apples make the scary atmosphere almost feel warm. A welcoming voice appearing at each door of parents giving out treated to the young. This is Halloween night.

What is a Paradox

Paradoxes, if you don’t know of them yet you probably would get a good understanding if you decide to read all of this. A paradox makes you mind think, it is an ever lapping loop of thoughts always reap eating to make you think again and again. A better way to explain is to give an example, let’s say pinocio says his nose will grow, we’ll it doesn’t grow so he told a lie which in turn makes his nose grow., but then he told the truth because he said his nose will grow so it retracts. Then it goes on and on forever. Pretty weird right, another one I know is this statement is false so if it were false wouldn’t it be true?

The Meaning of Color

Have you ever thought wondered what it is like in a dogs eyes. Seeing black and white all the time, never knowing what shade of brown something is. It is a pretty crazy thing that we don’t take it for granted. Color is what runs most of you emotions, even when reading a book for example, there are no colors on the page, but what are you thinking. I mean when you read a book you imagine it like a movie, the words go into your head, it processes, then you imagine it it your head with color. Have you ever cried watching a movie, or got so happy it made you jump, or even cringed at the sight of the main character asking out a girl or something, Imagine that but in black in white. Yes I understand that they did watch movies in black and white back then, but the movie industry really took off as soon as color films were displayed on the screen. The emotions just got so flooded in the audience that everyone wanted it to happen more. I’m not talking to all people though, some do prefer black and white, or are color blind in some ways, I’m just saying it feels better to see all the colors.

The Difference Between Books, Audiobooks, and T.V.

Have you ever wonder what happens when you read a book, or if audio books might be helpful for you, or maybe no books, just letting your mind rest there in front of the T.V. Now these are all great examples of entertainment but which one is better? Lets talk about books for a second, I prefer them, they’re great for your eyes and mind, but are they really for you? Think about it, do you really like books just as much as the person sitting next to you. You may have never even tried an audio book thinking that hardback books are better for you. Maybe they are, but how do you really know?

This brings me to audio books, I personally recommend them to verbal learners, or people always on the go. While walking down the sidewalk you could finish Eragon or Harry Potter, maybe just turn the speakers on and lie down while you listen to chapter 2 of The Giver. The only problem with them is if you have a bad talker or narrator you could end up not enjoying the book at all. Just get so bored listening to the same voice miserably failing to talk to you you just go downstairs and watch T.V. But the real question was even with the narrator you were improving you hearing, and listening which could help in school a ton. Doesn’t even damage you eyesight with a screen. That’s also why I chose tv for last.

You might be surprised by what I’m about to tell you but every now in then T.V. Doesn’t hurt that bad to watch. It lets you mind roam free, relaxing itself freeing itself from the world around you. Just not thinking as an easier way to put it. I’m not saying lie in front if the T.V. For hours at a time, that can seriously damage your eyes just so you know, but really T.V. Can be good for you. So that sums up my conclusion, they are all great ways to help improve your mind and senses so you never know you might want to try it from time to time.

Are Electronics Good or Bad

Think about your everyday life, everything you do, everything you say, or how about everything you text or play on a smartphone. Now I know not everyone has a smartphone, but think about everyone who does have a smartphone. For example think about your teacher, your friend, even your brothers or sisters. Now that you’ve thought about that now think about how long they spend on that phone. Hours? Minutes? Seconds at a time? How about half a day, 12 hours or more you spend not only looking at phones or tablets, but screens, computers, electronic billboards, and to be truthful most of them are apple.

Not im not saying every electronic device in the world is apple, but the majority of them are. I mean they are the leading company in electronics, you might not even notice it but you at least once a day you see an apple screen somewhere. You could be walking down a sidewalk and someone walks by you with a phone of some sort and bam that’s your once a day. You might have a phone and you might look at that phone more than 50 times a day. So think about it real quick is it taking over your life.       -Evan
